Job Responsibilities:
Lead the evaluation, implementation, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of the company's automation lab/ platform for metabolism studies.
Act as the automation lead within a multidisciplinary team prosecuting a range of large-scale metabolism studies.
Assist in scheduling and cross functional project management for large-scale metabolism studies. .Work closely with collaborators throughout the science team to identify and implement lab automation to improve science overflow.
Qualifications:
Significant experience in implementing, programming, operating and troubleshooting laboratory automation
Broad experience with a range of automation equipment is desired, and extensive experience with Hamilton Microlab Star-based platforms is preferable.
Past experience driving large-scale experimentation, and strong quantitative skills to evaluate data from large scale experimental work.
Track record of strong organizational and communication skills is a must, evidenced by past success managing multifaceted automation projects and/ or key contributory work in multifunctional teams.
Ph.D. or BS/ MS plus at least 8 years experience; 5 or more years in lab automation is strongly preferred.
